Precautions for using a mining wheel scraper
The precautions for using the mining wheel scraper are as follows:
1、 Preparation before startup
1. Check the hydraulic oil level to ensure that more than four fifths of the hydraulic oil is added to the tank. The hydraulic oil needs to be replaced regularly, first after 100 hours of operation, and then at least once a year according to usage. At the same time, replace the hydraulic oil filter element and keep the tank clean.
2. Check whether the bolts, nuts, screws and other fasteners in various parts of the slag scraper are loose, and whether the electrical and hydraulic components are intact. If there are any abnormalities, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.
3. Check whether each operating handle is in the neutral position, whether cables, sockets, and plugs are damaged, and whether circuit breakers, contactors, buttons, indicator lights, universal transfer switches, and other electrical appliances and their connecting lines are burned or loose to ensure circuit safety.
2、 Precautions for operation process
When the slag scraper is working, it is not allowed to forcefully load material blocks that exceed the conveying capacity of the machine to avoid mechanical overload. Electrical equipment must not come into contact with water to prevent electrical leakage. Hard objects stuck in the track joints should be promptly removed to prevent damage to the tracks.
2. When the scraper is moving, it is necessary to promptly retract the cables to avoid squeezing. When parking on a slope, triangular wooden blocks should be placed under the tracks to prevent slipping.
After the machine is submerged in water during underground construction, it needs to continuously step on the brake pedal to restore braking performance. When going downhill, do not step on the clutch and downshift to use engine resistance to ensure safety.
3、 Shutdown and maintenance
After the operation of the slag scraper is completed, the machine should be cleaned and waste engine oil should be injected into the tracks and scraper chains to prevent oxidation and extend its service life.
2. Regularly check whether each oil pipe is bent, twisted or even damaged, and whether the seals of hydraulic components are damaged or deformed. If found, they should be replaced immediately to prevent affecting the normal operation of the machine.
When the scraper is not in use, make sure to land the bucket, turn off the generator, and turn off the circuit to avoid danger caused by misoperation.
4. Regularly inspect the wear of the supporting wheels, guide wheels, chain wheels, chain rail joints, and track shoes, as well as the bucket teeth of the scraper. If the wear is severe, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
In addition, before operating the scraper, the driver must carefully read the scraper's user manual to understand its performance, technical parameters, structure, maintenance, operation, and safety precautions. When operating the slag scraper, there can only be one driver in the driver's seat, and it is strictly prohibited to carry people in other places. It is also strictly prohibited to stand in front of the slag scraper and under the bucket and shovel arm. During the operation of the slag scraper, unrelated personnel and other mechanical equipment are prohibited from approaching to ensure the safety of the operation.
